I bought a 32GB (primarily because it was such a good price; I don't usually use big cards) and received "iffy" answers from both Olympus and Sandisk. The card is and Ultra SDHC class 10 card, but the designation on the package shows SDSDU-032G-A11. Sandisk said if the camera (E-M5) was USH compatible, the card was OK. They also conmfirmed that my 12 in 1 reader would be able to read the card. Olympus said the camera is USH compatible so I assume the card will work OK in the E-M5.

I understand that it is hard for card manufacturers of cards and cameras to keep up to date.

I would like verification from you experts that I can use the card.

  Me after spending 3 calls to Olympus about the card and updating!

    Thanks as always.

Unless the card was defective, I don't see a reason why it wouldn't work with your omd. I have one of those, as well as a 45mb/s and a 95mb/s version, too - no issues.

Hell, Oly cameras even support SDXC cards (64GB and up), and have done so for years already.
