The snow has left the country, so I decided to take my bike and cycle to the office. Not for work but we have some Scottish Highlander cows grazing there, and I have been wanting to take some shots for a long time, especially now that they recently had a calf... All taken with Panasonic GX1 and the 45-150 lens (I could have done with something longer though...)

    Hey All,

Zoom with your feet - they don't bite!

Be able to run though - just in case.

    Nice pics! Cute calves!

These are an ancient breed and not too friendly to two-legged photographers. don't bite but they do butt! And look at those horns!

My thoughts exactly...:) Even though they are quite used to humans (it is actually a public walking area where they graze) the horns still look a little intimidating, and with a small calf they might just be a little protective and not to keen on people getting too close... I was happy enough to keep a little distance...:)
