Wow this is a real coup for the consortium (voluntary or not). I consider Scott Bourne a serious name in the industry.
Not sure what you mean by voluntary or not. For sure Scott isn't being paid to switch. He's prone to these big moves, Canon to Nikon, Nikon to Canon, but he's an ethical guy (discloses appropriately) and pays for all his stuff like the rest of us.
I think it was on am episode of TWIP where I heard him in an interview with the host talking about the switch to mFT. I was just getting ready to buy an OMD so it was nice to hear him praise the system.
Very confusing, his big thing is bird photography. I don't see how he can replace the Nikons and Canons and super long lenses with all M4/3 gear. He flip flops all the time.
It would be fun to be a fly-on-the-wall listening to other non-photographer drivers trying to pronounce that in a way that makes sense, lol. Don't we do that? Try to figure out if the license plate is words? I do anyway.
Didn't he mention he's retiring? He can still get good shots with a 100-300, just not birds in flight!
