    I generally hate the faux old-timey sepia vignette look. I absolutely love your second photo, however. The tied up horse just makes it work...

    Thanks. I have to admit that I am not totally sold on the look in general. I have tried it on a few select images and it seems to work on this one. Your comments are truly appreciated.

    Nice! I lived in CR for a year and your pics make me want to go back. Never been to San Gerardo, but I've bee through San Isidro many times en route from San Jose to the southern beaches. Beautiful area.

    San Gerardo about an hour from San Isidro toward Mt Chirripo. It is the last town and end of the road in that direction. Having less than 400 population it is a very small community but has a lot of character and is very scenic. We plan to live there upon retirement in 3 years.
