Samyang 7.5 questions (problems?)

    I just acquired a LNIB copy of the Samyang. I have found that the image on the LCD will make me seasick. When I half press the shutter button the image wobbles around. I turned the body's IBIS off and the image settled down. Weird. I am also having a problem getting a sharp image even at various distance settings. MY trusty tripod did not help.

    I hope this is only a matter of technique......help!

    It's probably the IBIS focal length setting. Go to the SCP -> IS -> press Info -> set the focal length at 7mm.

    The lowest it goes to is 8mm, but close enough.

    Duh! When all else fails.....read the instruction book. I made the changes and the Samyang is going to be fun.

    Doesn't it prompt you for focal length when you mount the lens? The GX7 does.

    No, it would be nice. I'm going to write to Olympus about this :)
