Two features would make me move up to a GX9

1) reposition the cable release socket such that the screen, when flipped open to the left, does not interfere with it. Simply move the socket to the right side of the camera.

2) Do something to prevent a strobe when mounted in the hot shoe from preventing the viewfinder from being tilted upward
SUGGESTION: Offer a hot-shoe offset accessory, a rigid device with internal wiring that has full male TTL contacts at one end, full female TTL contacts at the other, that places the strobe either a few inches forward or a few inches higher and to the right. ALTERNATIVE: an extension TTL wire that has a narrow plug at the camera end and has the wire emergung from the front rather than the top.
