What lens do you want to see? I'm strongly hoping for a portrait lens with specifications of 50mm f/1.8 or thereabouts.

    a nice macro

maybe a m4/3 equivalent of the Leica 45/2.8 - but faster - always want it faster !

The Leica 2.8/45mm is already for ยต4/3. And faster? No. One stop faster means, that a lens is about eight times more difficult to design and to build. The resulting lens would be heavy and even more expensive than the current 2.8/45mm without any benefit, since f/2.8 is open enough for a macro lens.

There was another rumour of a fast zoom lens... I hope it's a 57mm f1.2 but I doubt it.

50mm 1.8 --exactly what I'd like. And it must have OIS!

anything fast, preferably a zoom... like a 15-50mm constant f/2... faster would be even better, but it would make a zoom quite cumbersome

I'd like a 35-100 f/3.5 OIS with constant...To keep the price (under $900) and size a bit lower. Having it be f/2.8 would add size and price,

I wonder if it's a 4mm fisheye. That would be truly exceptional! (/end sarcasm)

I hope it'll be a 12-75mm f/2.5-3.3 that occasionally comes up in rumors; that lens would be one I can take 90 % of my pictures with. And then I'll have a look into the 100-300mm, so that I can replace the 45-200mm for hopefully something better.

Another fast AF prime lens with OIS (i.e. 35 or 50 or 85f1.8) will be great and make the GH1 a lot more useful indoor under less than ideal lighting condition..

I am thinking a 17/2.0 Summicron equivalent would be nice to see.

I'd buy/preorder that straightaway  Personally I think it'll be a fast zoom lens too (perhaps bundled with the GH2?) because as we all know micro four thirds' high iso performance isn't as good as APS-C sized sensor cameras, although there is a rumour of a sensor with better lowlight performance...

How about the Micro four thirds.... 25mm... Panasonic-Leica... Noctilux f0.95!?

but seriously, I think the rumoured 25mm 1.4 would be a very good addition to the range. I wonder how the 14mm 2.5 is coming on, hope they've managed to shave it down to f2.0 ;)

Tokina designed 70mm equiv f5.6. No OIS. Go go go!

Sorry about that  The lens coins compartment in my wallet has taken beatings upon sheer vandalism lately, so I'll have to stand by the rails and watch all your fun with the PL 50 'lux.

Any fast prime (1.2-1.4) in the 17-23mm range would suit me.

I'll see if I can poll the local Pany rep here in Toronto next time he visits.

That would be a great "LX4" lens for the GF2 (if you read 12 mm as 24 mm)!!!
    - Curious if they could manage OIS and compactess (despite larger sensor)...

FYI: Yesterday arrived back home in Nagoya in Japan and today I noticed the GF1 is for sale in the department stores, from 80,000 Yen for slightly less than 60,000 Yen (icw you kitlens of choice, but probably without the ugly optional EVF). So the GF2 (with build-in EVF) is coming for sure .

The selection of hardware continues to be a very difficult one, especially if Pentax, Nikon and mabye en Canon are going to join the EVIL battle. Hopefully the prices will also continue to drop (despite new models).

Surprise! It will be the next hit M4/3 lens!
I think so too... I'd even be surprised if they don't make an M4/3 version of it.
