These are the ruins of the Gold Springs Mining District located on the Utah Nevada State line. In 2007 the land owner bulldozed most of the standing structures, but left all of the debris.

You could always visit The Lizard, the home made ice cream at the lighthouse is delicious, crab sandwiches (with minimal crab) are only £12 each

After visiting Ireland last year, everything was 12 pounds or 14 euros. Maybe a bit cheaper at carry out but not much.

Interesting thread. Lot of bleed over from "abandoned," but I guess that most things that are abandoned are largely ruined. I've posted a pic of an un-effed-up example of one of these in the B&W image thread. I suspect that this one met its fate long after it routinely served its purpose.
