I like the Interior Design book abandoned with the building, I guess they hadn’t gotten around to executing the design principles.Follow-up: I just got back home from 12 hours of scenic driving through NY and MA. Tail end of a brief vacation. As I last posted, I'd thought about going back to Rt. 206 during this drive, and it happened that this was approximately where foliage was nearest peak. So I came home with more pics of this wrecked building - and the farmhouses across the street from it, which are also abandoned. No, I didn't go inside. (SO many reasons for that!) But it turns out that someone else did - and shared the video!
As you can see, the large building gets its shape from a train car in the middle of it - and it's absolutely choked with building materials and rubble and vegetation. What the video doesn't show is how much traffic there is in that area this time of year, including police. And it seems there is zero cell reception there no matter who your carrier is.
Great catch, Harvey! I missed that detail when previewing the video. All the stuff left in there, not to mention the complementary set of hulks across the street, make me wonder what went wrong.I like the Interior Design book abandoned with the building, I guess they hadn’t gotten around to executing the design principles.
