Follow-up: I just got back home from 12 hours of scenic driving through NY and MA. Tail end of a brief vacation. As I last posted, I'd thought about going back to Rt. 206 during this drive, and it happened that this was approximately where foliage was nearest peak. So I came home with more pics of this wrecked building - and the farmhouses across the street from it, which are also abandoned. No, I didn't go inside. (SO many reasons for that!) But it turns out that someone else did - and shared the video!

As you can see, the large building gets its shape from a train car in the middle of it - and it's absolutely choked with building materials and rubble and vegetation. What the video doesn't show is how much traffic there is in that area this time of year, including police. :laugh1: And it seems there is zero cell reception there no matter who your carrier is.
I like the Interior Design book abandoned with the building, I guess they hadn’t gotten around to executing the design principles.

Great catch, Harvey! I missed that detail when previewing the video. All the stuff left in there, not to mention the complementary set of hulks across the street, make me wonder what went wrong.

I was happy enough with my new pics to stay up very late last night processing them. Here they are, just finished:

That is just astounding. The first picture in the first post and this last one are odd because of the round, culvert like openings, as if the building was not built on consistently dry ground. It may also be that there is structure missing; the brickwork around the "culverts" is not finish quality.

I love the pop and composition of the middle image, what camera/lens combo did you use?
Hi cedge,

All were taken with the EM-5 Mk II and the 12-40/2.8 PRO.

The middle image was taken at 12mm at F2.8, ISO 200, 1/20, processed in Capture One.
