Interesting thread. Lot of bleed over from "abandoned," but I guess that most things that are abandoned are largely ruined. I've posted a pic of an un-effed-up example of one of these in the B&W image thread. I suspect that this one met its fate long after it routinely served its purpose.

Yep, one of the local zombies apparently thought it would look nicer woven into the chain link... and to be fair, I guess it does... :rolleyes:

Kenilworth Castle, building started in the 1120's, the fortifications were dismantled in 1650 following the English Civil war, in the language of the time this was recorded as 'slighting'.

That brings back memories. The subject may or may not be yours truly in 1965 at Mission San Juan Capistrano, feeding pigeons. This is a frame from an 8mm movie. The only thing ruined is what I've become!
