One of many reasons to have a 2nd identical body. When I made all my living from photography I always had 3 identical bodies. I would typically shoot events or whatever with two bodies, the third was for those times one had to go in for repair.
Got a mk1 and a mkii now so that should help any further (hope not) problems

I've posted this over in DPreview as well. My grips started coming off my E-M1 II recently. The problem, as many have noted, is that the rubber expands over time, which means that it still won't hold even if you replace the adhesive. Mine is out of warranty, so I decided on a more permanent fix.

I pulled the grips off. Digitised the camera body, and designed my own grip, 3d printed innylon+carbon fibre. This should stop any chance of grip corners coming loose, expanding grips or other such problems.

I've got the files available on Thingiverse: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4110680
You'll need a very well dialled in printer to print them. I can also make them as required.
