Not sure if this has been posted yet, as I've been out of the photography game for a few weeks, but Really Right Stuff released an L bracket for the Panasonic GH1:

Really Right Stuff - BGH1-L: L-Plate for Panasonic Lumix GH1

No idea if it works on the G1 as well, but I might order one and try it...I miss my L brackets :(

I don't mean to resurrect an old thread but I was looking for feedback on this bracket too, and rather than start a new thread its better to continue an existing one, regardless of age.
I was thinking of purchasing this bracket for my GH2. I am mostly concerned with access to the remote port tho.
This is the new working link to it.

Does anyone have experience with this, or is there an alternative one?

    GH2 L Bracket ??? Anyone ??

So i guess no one has ever used it and there is no alternative.

I have the RRS L-bracket for the GX-1. It fits like it was made for it. To really get the most out of it you will want one of their ballheads.

What is better about one of their ballheads rather thain another ballhead.?

I'm sure another high quality ballhead will be fine. Mine was mediocre. After I got the RRS bracket, the difference in quality was so great that it shamed me into buying one of their ballheads.
