Rotting oldtimers

    Yeah, I kind of hesitated before opening this thread. Would I make the cut? Is old-timer a term of endearment or a term of dismissal?

    Luckily it turned out to be a cool photograph.

    Envious - I like shooting old stuff: including people. The more wrinkles and rust, the better.

    Don't get it. Who's the rotting old-timer here--he Kipper-fit Mackerel-Killer, Ok-Corel, or the G1? ;) 

    Had a copy (counterfeit?) of a Kilfitt Zoomar when young. Made by KMZ in Zenit mount. Got it new in Moscow. It took bizarre shots, like star-burst zoom effects except it was at high speed without any zooming. Then I thought the concave front lens was really odd. Creative assembly line, monday morning hangover? Who knows... Once I reversed it, it worked much more kharacho :rofl:

    Btw: who'll be first to adapt a Taïr 300mm Photo-Sniper (Zenit) to a m43?
