Last summer I went on a fishing trip to northern Sweden, Rostujávri, with a couple of my friends. The weather was exceptionally sunny and warm. We took a seaplane from Kilpisjärvi (Finland) to Rostujávri because there are no roads to get there. Grayling, brown trout and arctic char were the most common fish in that lake. I managed to get only grayling, but that was great fun too. My gear was: E-M5, Samy 7,5mm, Pana 25mm, Oly 12-50, and Oly 40-150. 12-50 was the most used lens on that trip, it is so versatile and more importantly weather sealed.

Great pictures, i have been there once on the Norwegian side of the lake. We walked up the canyon from Norway.
It was a long walk but it was worth it :)

This year we finally managed to get there again so here are some snapshots from our recent trip to Rostujavri. It was exactly a month ago and we stayed there for three nights plus one night at Kilpisjärvi before the flight to Rostujavri. This time I took Olympus E-M5 mk2, Panasonic GM1, Oly 12-40mm 2.8, Oly 25mm 1.8, Oly 75-300mm 4.8-6.7 and Oly 9mm FE BCL.

indeed, not uncommon throughout Finland too ... and something which in and of itself makes me shake my head at the way that water is treated in the southern "western world" (NB more southern than Scandinavia)

the idea of "don't piss in your well" seems to be lost on many westerners.

As an Australian used to very scarce and sparse water resources hiking in Lapland is a joy.

Nice images too ... thanks for sharing. I'll be "dark" when I get back there in October
