    Title says it all, Rokinon(Samyang) 85mm f/1.4 with Nikon Ai to m43 Lens Turbo.

    I wasn't expecting a miracle, it just had to be good enough, as I was both skeptical and hopeful at the same time.

    Well.. I am quite pleased with results I am seeing.
    Yes, it has issues, but they are something I can easily live with.

    I have prepared 3 sets of shots, where each set demonstrates focus on the subject and then focus on the background.
    Please keep in mind that, these are far cry from a scientific test.
    They are just mere samples, hoping for you to find them useful in your quest. :)

    Subject in these samples are a fan that has rough dimension size of an adult head.

    Since the forum resizes the image, you should copy and paste the image URL into a new browser window or tab to see in 2272px by 1520px resolution.

    Thanks for sharing this. I'm considering this exact combination. I'd be particularly interested to see what kind of subject isolation/sharpness you get shooting larger subjects at a distance of 15 or 20 feet.
