Road side fish market in Mumbai India

    Although its at road side the fish sold is very fresh and expensive. People do come and prefer buying them here rather then buying them in food stores.

    Lovely shots! Not to mention these small mom & pop fishermen are way better than the super trawlers emptying the oceans.

    My god ,I live in chembur too . This pics are actually from chembur fish market near amar mahal .

    Yes so right . They bring limited quantity and almost sell everything by the end of the day . Its a bit expensive but extremely tasty and fresh fish .

    I was wondering about that. My parents still live near the Amar Mahal flyover. I was last there in March and noticed that the fish looked as fresh as ever.

    Indeed. Would be fun to tag along with you when you go out and shoot. I haven't done that Mumbai in 20 years.
