I have one : don't like mine.
I wonder what is different between our two.
There were a few different models of this lens over the years. Mine is the P. There was a good discussion on the Pentax forum. The XR Rikenon 50mm f2 sharpest 35mm lens claim - PentaxForums.com
Ha! It turns out mine isn't a Rikenon at all ... I was mstaken.
It is a 55mm F2.2 Riconar and all my other SLR 50mm lenses are better wide-open and wideish-open. I got it on a Ricoh KR-5 with some other stuff I actually wanted.
I'll play - here is the Rikenon-P, focus on the eyes:
Not an ideal comparison due to staggered alignment -- but here's the 50 f/2 compared to the 50/1.7 Rikenon and 50/1.4 MC Rokkor. The f/2 is a bit taller than the :43: adaptor, but not much! Having owned the Pentax-M 40mm lens I cannot call this a pancake, but it is mighty compact.

Recently I received Rikoh Rikenon 50/2 with pentax PK mount and corresponding adapter that costed me around $60 incl. delivery to Moscow for the set.
Yesterday I gave them a try on my Olympus OMD EM5 and found that the lens is quite sharp and easy to focus using magnification.

I'm newbie in here, may i have a question ?
I just bought the lens like you , what kind of mount do they use for my pentax pen e-pm2
Mine is a M42 mount so you need a M42 to mico 43 adapter.
Got one of these on ebay for $10. Finally took a few pictures with it today. It did pretty well.
