Ha! It turns out mine isn't a Rikenon at all ... I was mstaken.
It is a 55mm F2.2 Riconar and all my other SLR 50mm lenses are better wide-open and wideish-open. I got it on a Ricoh KR-5 with some other stuff I actually wanted.

Not an ideal comparison due to staggered alignment -- but here's the 50 f/2 compared to the 50/1.7 Rikenon and 50/1.4 MC Rokkor. The f/2 is a bit taller than the :43: adaptor, but not much! Having owned the Pentax-M 40mm lens I cannot call this a pancake, but it is mighty compact.
    G1-adapted.

Recently I received Rikoh Rikenon 50/2 with pentax PK mount and corresponding adapter that costed me around $60 incl. delivery to Moscow for the set.
Yesterday I gave them a try on my Olympus OMD EM5 and found that the lens is quite sharp and easy to focus using magnification.

Mine is a M42 mount so you need a M42 to mico 43 adapter.
