Items to sell/buy/trade: Ricoh Wide-angle Conversion lens GW-3 + GH-3 for GRii (GR II) (0.75x)

Prices: $149.99

Location: Oregon, U.S.A.

Ships to: US

Description: This is the Ricoh factory Wide-angle Conversion set which works for and with the GRii APS-C compact camera. The camera normally comes with a fixed 28mm (equivalent) lens; when this set is attached, it widens the FOV (field-of-view) to an ultra-wide 21mm equivalent. The GW-3 is the actual lens itself - but to attach it to the camera, you need the additional GH-3 'lens hood' (the lens doesn't work without it). I am including both in this sale. To attach them you need to remove the front (decorative) lens ring from the camera lens itself, which exposes the bayonet-mount to which the GH-3 attaches; the GW-3 then screws into the GH-3.

The lens itself is extremely high quality, and when mounted, it turns your Ricoh GRii into a very cool ultra-wide FOV camera, particularly useful for either landscapes or very wide architectural or interior views. It comes equipped with lens caps for both ends, as well as a soft case to carry them in. This is one of the few - and great - accessories for the GR II.

NOTE: if you have the 1st generation GR, or the 3rd generation GRiii, it won't fit; it's only made to fit the GRii.

I'm selling it/them only because I haven't used them enough to justify keeping them, and I hope they will go to a GR photographer who can make use of them!

I'll do my best to answer any questions in a timely fashion, but if you've read this far, odds are you probably know as much about this cool conversion lens as I do. Please note that the camera which appears in the final two photos (my own GRii) is NOT for sale; only the Wide-Angle lens + lens hood (GW3 + GH3) are for sale.

Incidentally, finding a Wide Conversion lens package in good shape domestically is getting harder and harder. Most sellers seem to be in Japan and these days are asking relatively high (inflated!) prices. I'm trying to keep my initial price low and reasonable (less than what I paid for it/them), in the hopes that it will be affordable for fellow photographers.
