the title says it all, probably tomorrow I'll have it. it could be a silly move but for less than a hundred dollars I can't be wrong. I read some very limited user review saying that it's a sharp lens with very little aberration, QC is unstable though. Tried a Kodak 42.5-160 too but it doesn't look quite impressive for the price too choose over Oly 40-150, I'll give some feedback soon.

pls head to https://www.mu-43.com/showthread.php?t=66130&p=660893 for my review of this lens, thanks for reading.

Interesting....I'd be curious to find out how it performs vs. the usual Pan/Oly kit lenses. Personally, I prefer the 12-50 because of its awesome macro and weathersealing, but since your camera isn't sealed, the latter isn't important for you.

Let us know what it's like when you get it, you may just be the first one around here to shoot one of those lenses! :)

I'd assume he's talking about this:

    P3200036.

But what I wish they would make is this!:

    Sakar-Kodak-25mm-f0.95-lens-for-Micro-Four-Thirds.

I mean, it's in existence, obviously, but they probably only made a few dozen of them.

I think you can remove the word dozen from your statement, because its a prototype. They most likely hand built & assembled a few of them; as is typical before gearing up for a production run .

BUT .. Where is this retail source for the 12-45mm µ4/3 lens the OP speaks of.. Is this a Belated April Fools thread?

The KODAK m43 was aimed at the Chinese market. My guess since the OP appears to live in China is that he bought it there.

I'd love to hear what it is like. Maybe it is just nostalgia from the DCS digital backs, but still cool.

Did you buy it on Taobao? I'm only seeing it there and not on Aliexpress. I'm seeing some insane deals there: an A6000 for about $300 being just one of them.

yes, and I'm in China, there aren't too many kodak s1 sellers yet but it seems the standard zoom is worth buying, so I bought that alone. I read a few positive reviews, of course in Chinese, a few of which stated very slow AF but one of them said he got a bad copy, changed another one and then it worked fine. I'm supposed to receive this lens in 24hrs, will post some photos from and of the lens.

yes, but honestly it looks way bigger than I thought, definitely will be the biggest in my collection, the only 49mm filter thread lens
