Rev. Godfeather, mayor of the creek, is addressing a Cormorant pair presently out of the picture to the right.

"Fellow fish eaters and new residents to our creek: Welcome. We here at the creek hope you find your stay comfortable and rewarding. Please, though, do not take more fish than you can ..... oh, excuse me madam. You wish to come by. Please do proceed.":

"Just allow me to step forward madam and you may come right through.":

"Oh, that's not necessary Reverend. I can just step below you here. I really do not want to interrupt.":

"Well thank you and good day madam. Ahem, as I was saying dear brother and sister Cormorant. Leave some fish for the rest of us. We all Have families you know.:

"Must be going now. The missus needs to be relieved on the nest. Good day."

Hand held from 100 yards from the subjects so not making any claims for image quality. This is reportage anyway and its the who what where and why that counts.

Thanks, I am shameless when it comes to anthropomorphizing. You should here what my cat is telling me all the time.

    He is such a wiseacre.

    Shameless Bump ...

... for the cubicle crowd and western time zones.

Yes it is a very silly post but comeON ... how often do you see a deer and a Great Blue Heron interacting?
