Looking for a battery powered solution for displaying a composite signal (from a Panny G1) remotely. Basically I want an extended EVF to partner with the remote shutter release.

Ideally, an EVF from some other camera which could be extended to work remotely with the supply of power and a composite signal. Someone mentioned "Cannon FU-2000" ... anyone have a pinout for one of those ? How about the E-P1's modular EVF ?

I remember a while back you could get quite slim "video glasses" which could work in 3D or 2D modes for video games and which gave a perceived screen size of several feet (not shutter glasses). Those sure do sound like they used dual small EVF's. Anyone seen anything like this ? I could probably doctor one to make a monacle.

Any ideas ?

My thought exactly. Best of the current options seem to be:

Vuzix (Europe) Ltd Wrap 920
i-3D Video Glasses

...but only the Wrap looks monocleable.
