That's a great price, if the same deal was offered in the UK, I'd be at it like a rat up a drainpipe!

This is a very good deal. I've waited a looong time for mine, so when I saw a $450 used, I snagged it.

I picked mine up on Cyber Monday last year. This price is $20 cheaper than that! Great deal!

The Oly 9-18mm is a very good lens, even if it's not really fast. Anyone who has any interest in this lens should immediately jump on any offer befoew $400 without waiting.

Is there any serious downside with using this lens on Panasonic body?
I thinking no IBIS and maybe some corrections will not be done?

The same corrections are performed (distortion, CA on newer bodies). Not sure why stabilization/IBIS would be an issue specifically with this lens - it's true of any lens without OIS.

At $700, I'm not a fan of the 9-18, but at $400, it's almost interesting.

No downside I can tell, I got mine used in this site's "buy/sell" forum, paid $480 for it and couldn't be more pleased. Great ultrawide.

No IBIS is not a problem with the wider lenses, easy to handhold steady.

In what condition did it arrive, if you don't mind me asking? I am debating myself if I should pick one up when they stock them up again.

Glass was spotless, zoom action is smooth, new lens cap with the plastic, what I would call light/minor "handling" marks on the rubber of the barrel.

Used, but not abused. For $200 off list, I am happy.

I took some quick shots of it, blew out the contrast to show the barrel a little better.

Technically you save $120-$130 since it sells for $560 on Amazon and Olympus charges tax in atleast my state.
