I'm still experimenting with the DTC on the E-M5 and finding it is very useful for locating and auto-focusing on small birds in large bushes. Although the smallest AF target area does not change with the DTC, but due to the x2 magnification of the image within the viewfinder it helps in accurately positioning the centre of the AF target area over the subject. Reed Warblers are rather secretive, wary and fast moving little birds and are always a challenge, but I think are made easier to capture with the DTC. The image has been further cropped by about 50% and a tad sharpening, clarity and saturation applied in LR5.2. I am still not sure about the reduction in post processing available with jpeg as apposed to RAW but this is appearing to be a more useful tool than I originally thought.
