Hi everyone,

I'm considering using a Panasonic G7 NTSC model (purchase from USA) to film videos. I will be filming at 30p. I want my edited videos to be in MP4 PAL format. I live in PAL land and my videos are sent to my clients (also in PAL land) on a USB speedstick.
Will filming in NTSC mode impact the ability to create PAL final products? I'm using Adobe Premiere Pro.

Thanks.

Hi, I'm not an expert, but my understanding is that for digital video, at record time all that matters is the frame rate.
NTSC is (almost) 30fps, whereas PAL is 25.

Since you're not making DVDs, it doesn't matter as much as most mp4 players will adjust, but the proper thing to do would be to have Premiere change the frame rate at the final output stage.
