    Hi all

I'm very glad to find with the help of Huelight profile made by Colin, it's easier than before to get "the look" I want from LR. Ever since I owned two :43: bodies, I've been struggling to make the output from raw the way that feels right; now I haven't decided to purchase the profile for my GF3 like I already did for the EPL5, because I don't shoot the GF3 much more, but what I've got from the EPL5 now is fantastic. Please take a look and you're welcome to share your work with profiles w/ various camera models, hopefully this can help someone achieve better look from their RAWs.

note that I don't think with Huelight profile everything looks strongly different from LR default, but it seems to be more proper to me, and more comfortable.

Agree 100%. I was thinking of moving the EPL5 along, when I decided to try Huelight. It's such a great starting point. I'm trying them for my RX100 now, too.

 I never had a chance to handle raw from Sony cameras, maybe each manufacture's privately owned raw format has some tricky part I guess.

I agree. I bought the profiles for both my EPM2 and EM5 and created a preset that automatically sets them at import. Very pleased with them!

Me too, I bought them about a week ago and they definitely give you a much better starting point with LR. I wished he made them for my LX3.

Hi I'm curious since the EPM2 and EM5 share the same sensor, practically are there differences with the raw files and processing?

And I failed to make a preset for automatic applying the profile at import, could you explain that? thanks.

Hi Gugarci how do you find LR works for panasonic raw files? I have to make the +25 shift in the "red channel" for GF3's raw in order to get the seemingly right red, I think by using a profile for panasonic camera will improve that.

Im having trouble getting to work with the RX100, but I'll let you know if they work out. Right now LR isnt recognizing them for the Rx100, though it does for the epl5.

edit: got the profiles working with the RX100. Nice!

    Hi

I've found this from here, hope this helps.

"I recently bought the Sony RX100. It's absolutely fantastic and the developed raw images are mind blowing to me. I've not used Lightroom before but downloaded a trial version of Lightroom 4.3 to use to work with my raw images. The results are excellent.Lightroom 4.3 doesn't recognise my RX100 images on the SD card - it shows the folder as empty although there is 1.5 gig worth of images on it. I've had to download the Sony raw converter, install it and then Lightroom can see the files.I was hoping that I'd be able to use just Lightroom - am I doing something wrong? Any help would be appreciated.Recent image taken on a very dark, gloomy and cold day - Sony RX100, raw developed in Lightroom 4.3"

I just use Adobe Standard in LR for my LX3. Adobe Standard displays colors more accurate compared to the Panasonic JPG's. I mainly see it in the sky. But on almost all Panasonic camera reviews the Imaging Resources complain about the hues for the yellows and orange. Here the GF3 section.

    And here's the G5.

Each profile works only with the camera for which it was made. At $10/profile, I figured I could afford both.

First make a user preset in LR. (Open an image in the develop module, make whatever changes you like, e.g., I set the standard Huelight profile) Then save it as a user preset.

Next time you import images, select the preset you just created in the develop area (upper right corner in LR import), then either save as your default settings ... or save it as an import preset ... and don't forget to select it when you import.

I'm typing this from memory on my tiny laptop that doesn't have LR, so I apologize for the sketchy instructions. I'll update my post later when I'm back at my desktop.
