    Folks in our neighborhood get a bit antsy if they see you taking photos of a prison. Makes them wonder what you're up to. Interesting shot!

    Ooh lovely bit of Gothic Revival. Same Architect as The Midland Grand Hotel, St. Pancras Station.

    Did a lot of study on Victorian era prisons while at college, a period of great changes in the way society dealt with offenders, moving from punishment to rehabilitation. Perhaps it's no coincidence that Reading is shaped like a cathedral.

    Think I'll stick to the hotel personally...:smile:
