I bought a Raynox semi-fisheye to see, if it's possible to use it on DSLR. Internet says no, but I don’t trust internet
To my surprise, internet was right. Camera won’t focus with Raynox on it. You have to move it 20cm away from lens to get the focus beep from it. Not very practical.
So I start experimenting and was very surprised to get something “useful” from combination with macro lens adapter.

What was used in this mod:
    -DSLR
    -Raynox XL-3000 Pro 0.3x
    -B+W Macro lens +10
    -some glue

I carefully glue macro lens on top of Raynox

I have to use my 14-45mm with the 52mm filter size to be able to mount it on. Raynox clamps lost their reach.

So this is how it looks on GH1:

    And now for photo samples

Here is a photo without it at 14mm:

Photo with moded Raynox straight from camera:

And after some reduction of chromatic aberration, vignette and lens distortion

    8394922548_6982521360_b.

    Conclusion:
With this mod you get around 11mm field of view.
It works, but is it usable? Maybe for some skate FX video, but for photo I don’t think it’s worth the effort.
You’re better off with stitching two 14mm photos.
Nevertheless, it was fun messing with it on a boring Sunday.
    Thanks for reading.

    Regards, Peter
