I have just been looking at some photos taken with this close up attachment using the Pany 14-45 and they were superb!

Has anybody else tried this combination?

All shot handheld - quite hard to get the focus right with the very narrow DOF but I'm pretty happy with it for the price.

That's really quite impressive. Gonna order one and go on a garden bughunt.

I've just learned about the 'focus stacking' technique so even with that wickedly-small DOF i'm still finding the whole idea quite appealing : )

Thanks Iansky,

-Gary

Unfortunately, I cannot find the link to the images I saw but have since ordered the DCR 250 to use on my 14-45 (£35) so not too bad - just waiting for it to arrive.

I post some shots using Minolta MD 58mm f1.4 with the Dcr-250 attached under the adapted lenses image thread-Minolta MC Rokkor-PF 58mm F1.4 Image Thread.

Thank you all for the feedback - I am getting quite excited about receiving it (if ever DHL- "don't hurry luv" get around to delivering it).
Thanks for the advice Boyzo, I had wondered about that and also read somewhere that the long end of the 14-45 in conjunction with the DCR 250 produced some great images -does the AF function efficienly, or do you need to manual focus?
