I received my Sigma 19 and 30mm lenses and had a brief play.
I am a recent m43 convert from Canon gear (for context).

    First impressions:
    - They are tiny and feel well-built.
    - Focus speed is impressive, near instant. CAF-TR actually works usably.
    - Focusing noise is almost silent. Barely perceptible.
    - I didn't experience the startup delay that I'd read about.
    - Colours are good. Very film like. Not super contrasty.

    19mm vs Panasonic 20mm. Pros of 19mm:
    - Focus speed is dramatically faster.
    - Looks more normal on EPL5. 20mm sticks out in funky places.
    Cons of 19mm:
    - Slower aperture and the limitations of that.
    - Slightly bigger, but not by that much.

Very impressed for the money. Would now consider Sigma's 60mm given the positive experience so far.

They are very good lenses overall and an absolute steal for the money. Strange that you didn't notice any delay in wake-up, on my OM-D it's about 3 sec I'd say... Perhaps the firmware on EPL5 has something to do with it?

I press the power button, and approx 1sec later live view is showing on the screen. I'm using firmware 1.1 on the EPL5 (fyi for other epl5 owners).

I don't notice a delay on my EPM2, either, so perhaps?

Sent from my phone. Please pardon my brevity!

Tough call. I was planning to sell one and keep the one I liked.

Because I already have the Panasonic 20mm I'd probably end up keeping the 30mm for that focal length. That's the one currently on my camera.
It's nice it has the same filter size as the Panasonic 20mm so I can share the same polarizing filter.

The 19mm has impressed me though. It has more bokeh than I imagined for an f2.8 on m43rds.
