Do users here think that a Oly 17mm 2.8 and VF-3 for $325 total is a good price?

It seems like it to me, but just like to get the fourms opinion

It doesn't strike me as a screaming bargain. The VF-3 can be found for $130 (or less) and the Oly 17/2.8 can be picked up around $150.

    Agreed. Not a good deal.

You can get the old Sigma 19mm 2.8 for $99 a lot of places and I think it's a lot better lens. . . . And seeing as the Sigma 30mm is going for the same price and you can find the EVF cheaper used. . . . No I don't think it's a good deal. . . .
Friend of mine just got that package (the two Sigma lenses and EVF) for his EPL 2 for $350 including tax. . . .

All true, but the other big appeal of the O17 is the pancake form factor. The S19 is significantly bigger.

The real alternative to the O17 in my mind is the Panasonic 14mm f/2.5. That's the one I would look for, despite the fact that it's going to cost a bit more.
