I had a picture that I took in the Palazzo Ducale in Mantua used for a poster for an outdoor exhibition: "Sharing Heritage: Labyrinths in Europe" in Vienna.

It was taken hand held at 1600. They sent me a poster (bigger than the one in the picture), the image held up fine.

Published this month in NZPhotographer magazine.
It is an on-line magazine (a prejudice which shows my age I suppose ...) but being that as it may, from public submissions they selected a couple of my shots taken with my E-M5 MkII & 40-150 Pro. So I have the pleasure of being published one more time.

On pages 88-89, I see 2 different photographers, one with an iPhone 7, the other with a Mavic Pro?

In the midst of all of this existential angst about the future of M43, I've got the cover and a two-page spread in the Dec '18 issue of RoadRUNNER:

I continue to believe that M43 is a great motorcycle travel system. And it just gets better and better.

@John M Flores Congrats again John!! I don't often buy magazines but when I do Road Runner is the only one I get. A high quality magazine with beautiful features even if you're not a rider. I'll have to head down to my local Barnes and Noble and pick up a copy. Last month we rode the Valkyrie from Scottsdale, Arizona to Chama, New Mexico to photograph the Cumbres and Toltec railroad and on the way back home rode 350 miles in heavy rain which the next day got heavier and caused massive flooding. Sometimes trips are memorable but for different reasons.

These two shots are what they chose to put in the newspaper. Not my favorite images but for my first time shooting football I’m not too disappointed. I don’t care for how much it feels like luck to get a solid shot.

The rest were “left on the cutting room floor” to my mild dismay (but not surprise).

My biggest sale to date..............$175! which means it sold for $350. No details though of who it sold to but it has me wondering at that price?
