Great Images. Really great. But......

We haven't called Uluru "Ayres Rock" for twenty years now and the indigenous population find it a bit insulting. In respect for the traditional custodians of the land we should use the correct name.

Some stunning imagery. Thanks for sharing. I hope to make it down under before I hit 60.

There's lots of driving between places but it's worth it. It's a whole different lifestyle to the coast.

I love Ayers Rock framed by the tree branch.

The whole trip reminds me a bit of the American West.

Sounds good. I'm heading to the Grand Canyon soon!

Thankyou Thomas. This one will definitely go in my photo book and as a Desktop picture as well.

I used Ayres rock here because I'm not sure how many people know what Uluru is. It's registered as Ayres Rock and when I got to the top the survey mark says the same. I think it's most commonly referred to as Uluru Ayres Rock, not sure. Thanks for your concern anyway.

Bhupinder

You'll have to take her there mate, she'll love the walks around the surrounding Olgas 'kata tjuta' and gorges.

There's only a few extra ones on flickr that I didn't put on Pt1 & 2. I tried to find the most interesting so it wouldn't bore people to tears. haha

Thought about going there on our trip (leaving the 9th), but it was just too expensive for the 5 of us going. Mainly going to see my family in Canberra, but will spend some time on the coast and a couple of days in Sydney.

Nice work again Brady.

And that sunset, simply stunning.

The sunsets out there were different to what I'm used to. It must have something to do with the ground being so flat. There was a strange light that blanketed the horizon at night also, a kind of glow.

Thanks for dropping a line Steve, I hope you enjoy your holiday as much as I did. Don't get lost in Canberra with all the circular streets!

I got used to the circular streets, having grown up there.

Great finish to the set - really hadn't thought of camels in the outback! The colors are excellent.

As i remember from years ago, there is more genetic variability in camels In Australia than In the middle east, and at the time Australia was exporting camels to the middle east ( especially for racing).
