Heavily processed to expose my feeling, they earn our taxes to fight such old and polite protester.

    Sorry for my words.

Great work. Good eye for the essential elements in a scene.

  4. Very confronting scenes, and a good piece of photojournalism.

"Peace Maker" photo is an astounding piece of photo-journalism.
Can you give us an idea what the protest was about?

    Brilliant photos.
Numbers 1 & 2, and the Number 4 "peace maker" with truncheon.
    Great stuff.
you already sold them to the media? : If not, go make some money. (actually I haven't a clue how you would do that, but these are top!)

Do a Google images search for Pitak Siam. If you had to pick one photo to illustrate a Bangkok protests story - which would you pick?
Good as these photos are I'm not sure any of them would be my first choices as a news editor.

To be honest I live in Bangkok and I am not entirely sure what the protest is about.

The protester in 'photo 6' says he is 'against the bad guys' and there to 'protect the monarchy' on the back of his shirt.

The holiday season always seems to bring such prolific juxtaposition of the joy and goodwill that we wish upon others vice the contempt that is elevated when emotions escalate when our convictions are tested.

Such events make for superb images that conjures many memories of the unrest in this county during the 1960s.

Thank you for sharing these photos.
