    hi all,

I recently made use of the recent deal and bought an Promaster 7500edf (Olympus version). I currently do not have an Olympus body to fully test. I own a Panasonic GX7 and have access to 2 Sony e mount mirrorless bodies (nex-6 a7). I bought the flash to use in optical slave mode (off camera) or on camera in manual mode.

While I am aware that in Panasonic bodies this flash do not have TTL functions, I wonder if it is compatible in other aspects as manual flash. I do not want to fry circuits of the cameras (panasonic and sony) or the flash when I attach it to the camera and test it..

Anyone has tested the Olympus version this flash on Panasonic and Sony bodies in manual mode?

    thanks

    hi Michael,

thank you, I tried the flash it works great both when attached to GX7 directly (in manual mode) or in optical slave mode triggered by Gx7's pop up flash that I like a lot.

I did not have chance to try it on sony bodies yet..
btw, your lighting tutorials are great, thank you for those as well..

    best wishes
