So far these Prime day deals have been pretty underwhelming. I did find one that seems interesting:

$40 Amazon credit if you sign up for the $10/mo Adobe Cloud Photoshop and Lightroom plan, or $80 credit if you sign up for the whole $50 Adobe CC enchilada:

    http://www.amazon.com/b/ref=lp_11611839011_gb1h_tit_m-8_8422_74ece5be?rh=i:software,n:11611839011&ie=UTF8&smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&node=11611839011

If you find any more deals applicable to m4/3 photographers, maybe this thread can be a catch-all.

Agreed. I haven't seen anything interesting and who has the time to look through it all. Given their ability to send notices targeted at our specific interests, I'm surprised that I haven't received several nothing's for items I might be interested in.

Oh well, think of all the money I didn't spend.

Yeah, I agree this event has been way overhyped for what they're offering. The Adobe offer is the most interesting thing I have seen as well.

Oh well, at least we have the Treasure Truck:

Oh wait, maybe not. Think maybe I'll get in my kayak this evening and go egg Bezos' house.

I thought the UK deal on the OM-D kit I posted (and maybe the Panasonic GX7 deal?) were pretty good deals myself...certainly happy with with my EM5 purchase...

Well here in the states, the only camera deal was for a low end Fuji, sadly.

That UK E-M5 + grip + 12-50 + 45 kit was interesting although at US$885 it wouldn't have compelled me to jump (although bear in mind that I haven't bought anything but used equipment for years -- retail prices generally frighten me).

Yeah, but those of us in the states get everyday camera prices lower than most of the "deals" in EU/UK. So hard to complain...

...but I will anyway. What a fizzle for "prime day". Oh boy, I could have gotten an extra $3 off of a 20 pack of socks! But no I couldn't as such smoking "deals" like that were "sold out" within minutes.

The other (super nerdy) thing that bummed me about about this whole "Prime Day" thing is that 15 is not even a PRIME number. Why not have it on 7/13 or 7/17?

Don't forget to check the Amazon Warehouse deals. They're knocking an extra 15% off all of them. Some are used, some are just open box. But they all come with amazon's 30day return policy.
    All Amazon Warehouse Cameras:

I picked up these open box items:
    RX100 III for $481
    LX100 for $572
    Canon 40mm/2.8 for $84

    Also:
    EM1 for $764

    EPL5 w/14-42 for 295

    EM5 for $324

with the Warehousedeals you should always check against used prices at keh, adorama, b&h (or ebay).
I have a feeling that they raise the warehousedeal prices slightly before big rebate days (or the warehouse deal prices simply go up and down all the time :) )

Some deals to be found for sure, but sometimes it ends up being just a bit cheaper (or the same) than at one of the big dealers and they usually offer 180 days warranty (and maybe check used/returned items a bit better than at amazon)

EDIT: P.S.: some warehouse deals are actually more expensive. One example: a "good condition" E-PM2 body only for 193.97$ (comes to 164.87$ with the rebate). I paid 159$ for a refurbished E-PM2 with kit lens a while ago at NCE - which had the Olympus "90 day refurbished-warranty")

For some context the kit was priced at US$1410 before Prime Day. I worked it out that if I offload the bits I can happily live without and offload my dud 14-42mm for spares/repair plus my old PM2 body and duplicate bits etc. then I get the Body plus 12-50mm for around the £200 mark, which I am perfectly happy with given you are looking at over £500 for them alone normally. If I just keep the 12-50MM for my PM2 and sell body too, I could be in profit! Splitting kits when good offers come up seems to be a great way of funding/heavily subsidising upgrades if you don't mind a little ebay-related hassle, at least in the UK...

I were tracking few items in warehouse deal and I am sure they didn't change the price.. Grabbed the GX7 with 20mm 1.7 II lens for $600 after 15% discount.. Hope it's a good price .. It was hanging for quite long time for $699 to $765

To quote Kate Knibbs at Gizmodo: "All week, Amazon promoted its Prime Day sale as a “bigger than Black Friday” shopping bonanza. But today, a lot of the discounts look like they fell off a truck headed to a poorly regulated flea market for sad people held in a dumpster."

I actually looked at that same deal, you need to thank me for not pulling the trigger ;) There were two when I looked (in the afternoon) -- one said it was missing the battery, and the other said the screen was scratched. I might have bought too if it had not been for these things, if there had been one with a condition of better than "good" or whatever it was. Also wasn't the price more like $630? (I think price before discount was something like $739)

Agreed. it would be cheaper to get a Sony A7R from the classifieds ($1200 vs $1400 on amazon/KEH).
The Canon 40mm was $140 new on amazon, $120 on KEH and $84 on prime day.

Ah, I don't think the black one was there by the time I looked, I recall both the ones I saw were silver. Maybe you were there before me after all.

Oh well, I really can't afford new toys right now anyway :(

I didn't take advantage of the 15% off a set of 5 checkbook registers, so that I wouldn't figure out how much GAS costs me!
