After the initial increase in lens prices after the tsunami, some lenses have now began to drop in price.

Olympus 14-150 is $499, after the increase to $599 (MSRP). The pre-tsunami price was $489.

Olympus 9-18 is now $599, after the increase to $699 (MSRP).

Olympus 17/2.8 is $249, after the increase to $299 (MSRP).

Olympus 75-300 is $799, after the increase to $899 (MSRP).

All these prices are from BH. Olympus markets these price drops as "instant rebates" pretty much the same way they did before. The "instant rebates" supposedly expire at the end of May 2011.

As also previously noted, the Panasonic 14/2.5 was $379 a couple of weeks ago, and it's now $349 in Amazon.

The Pany 45-200 was as high as $379 about a week ago. It's now $299 in Amazon, and $349 at BH.

There still seems to be a shortage of the Pany 20. Bummer.
