COMPLETED Price Drop again $425 - Pen F, charger, half case. Ships: US

Buy/Sell feedback for rfortson (4)

Houston (Clear Lake), Texas
Items to sell/buy/trade: Pen F, charger, half case

Prices: $425 (was $550, then $500, then $450) for the bundle (prefer to sell all together)

Location: Houston, TX

Ships to: US

Description: I'm selling a well-loved Olympus Pen F with new half-case and 3rd party charger. I purchased this used last summer but honestly like my EM-5.2 better so I'm letting this one go. (NOTE - Grip has been sold.)

As you can see the camera has brassing around the edges but works well with one exception. I don't think the eye sensor works (where it will automagically switch from LCD to view finder) but honestly that's a feature to me. I use the dedicated button to switch from LCD to view finder. All other functions work that I was able to test, including Live Comp and High Res shot. Data screen shows 71749 shutter actuations (or 52687 button presses).

The half case is new from Amazon, decent leather with a flap to access battery and memory card without removing case.

The 3rd party charger works off of USB. Honestly I haven't used it since I had the EM-5.2 charger, but I'll include it as well.

Price of $425 (was $550, then $500, then $450) includes insured shipping to US. Payment via PayPal. Let me know if you have questions.

Okay, I can see no one loves my "well loved" Pen F. So I'm dropping the price again to $425 shipped in the US.

"But Russ", I hear you say, "what about the shutter count?" Yeah, the previous owner took a lot of shots, even though it might be hard to pin down exactly how many. Even still, you should have tens of thousands of shots left at a minimum.

"Okay, but what about the eye sensor?" Yeah, my camera doesn't automagically switch from the viewfinder to the rear screen. I use the dedicated button for it to switch when I want it to. You know what else my camera doesn't do? My camera doesn't frustrate me when it thinks my finger is my eye when I'm looking at the rear screen and switches to the viewfinder instead. So to me, this really is a feature as I hate the automatic viewfinder switching.

"So what kind of photos does this make?" Well, like any camera, it's limited by the idiot behind it, which in this case is me. Still here's a picture of my dog (taken with the Pen F and the 75/1.8 in low light) because who doesn't like dogs?

Oh, and this camera does in-camera black and white. I suck at black and white, but here's my attempt to be artsy.

Finally, this camera is a nice size to carry anywhere, especially with something like the 17/1.8 on it. Here's a picture of a rocket launch at Cape Canaveral, because rockets are cool.

So there you go. For $425 shipped in the US, you can take pictures of your dog (cats are optional), crappy B&W (or maybe you're better at composition and lighting than I am), and other cool happenings, with a neat looking camera and a new half case to make you look even cooler!

Don't wait, PayPal is standing by!
