I am not much of a fan for artistic presets. I like to evaluate each image or batch of similar images and then decide how I want them to look on export. --Ken
I purchased the Prolost set and gave them a whirl last night. So far, I am unimpressed. I'll need to give them more time but I'm really not sure how useful they will be - at least for me. I create my own for sharpening and such, some I create just for a single batch of photos.

Rather than create a preset, why not start with working on one image from a batch, and sync the adjustments to the whole batch? If this proves to be useful, it can always be made into a preset at some future date. --Ken
The SLR Lounge Lightroom 5 Preset System is awesome! Intuitive and systemized without the funky names that you see in a lot of presets. SLR Lounge Lightroom Preset System
+1 to the SLRLounge Preset system. I owned the previous LR4 iteration and an upgrade would cost me 29usd except it seems to be more cluttered than the previous version. I'm interested to hear if people who have upgraded think the LR5 version is indeed better.
