I'm pretty certain it would be locked. ;)
The castle itself is run as a holiday let and thanks to the lockdown, is locked up!
The main gates have been padlocked but I'm sure the security camera on the roof is still in operation.
I bet you know the formula "Say Friend and enter", you should try it! 😎

This was definitely a WTF moment. Seen in Juayua, El Salvador. We counted 23 people on/in this poor Mazda. And yes, they did drive away !!!!!

My very thoughtful cat , who weighs about 9 pounds and at least 16 years old, left me a present at the base of my throne (office chair). The dots on the floor protector are about 1.22" (31 mm) on center. This corpse was 12 inches long, nose to tail. This was brought in through the dog door in night some time. I have seen no evidence that we even have rats around here.

That must be a very loving cat, contributing to the food of its family in that way!
Very thoughtful also to place it on the floor protector and not directly on the carpet.

I was impressed that there was minimal clean up involved. Also thankful to know that he is out patrolling the perimeter while we (wife, 2 dogs, other cat and I) sleep.

Obviously you haven't been giving your cat much deserved credit lately so it had to remind you of the magnificent work being done for you.

Maybe this is a new kind of driveway-fashion for the owners of 4x4s?

Notice anything odd?

Go on, take a closer look.

Ah, now you see it.

Yes, it's a door handle half-screwed on to a blocked up doorway on an old stone wall of the castle.
Why on earth?
I'd be pretty damend hot if someone had attached that ugly brass handle to my castle wall. It clearly should've been antique bronze.
