What's the story behind this crazy thing?
Not knowing anything about this yesterday when I saw it, I had to dig into it today...

There’s an open air artist exhibition kinda deal just outside of the Rhyolite Nevada ghost town where this is at. Turns out it was built in 92 by some Belgium artist named Dr. Hugo Heyrman. It’s called “Lady Desert: The Venus of Nevada”. Outside of that, I got nothing. As with much “art”, I doubt we’ll ever be able to answer “why”. There are however a bunch of other pretty cool exhibitions there, just less of a wtf, so I didn’t post them in this thread. Although to be fair, I haven’t quite found a thread where they make sense in either...

And here's me thinking it was Mr Trump. Apart from the chest, there is a strong resemblance, I think  :hiding:

Taken a while ago (hence not M43) on a trip to Morocco. These are some of the specifications noted on the side of washing machine packaging. Stand out features include "three dimensional waterfall" (as opposed to the inferior two dimensional waterfall :) ) and mice-proof design.

Yes, it's a door handle half-screwed on to a blocked up doorway on an old stone wall of the castle.
Why on earth?

Did you try it?
I'm pretty certain it would be locked. ;)
The castle itself is run as a holiday let and thanks to the lockdown, is locked up!
The main gates have been padlocked but I'm sure the security camera on the roof is still in operation.
