Not really a national park, but it looks like it. This is the river walk at Powerscourt Gardens and Estate in Wicklow, Ireland. I am lucky to live around the bend from this place.

You have stolen our trees :)
I was wondering if someone would notice.
The British Royal Botanical Society stole them, then they planted them in Ireland.
After all David Douglas, a Scot, did give the Douglas Fir it's name ;)
If you look closely, you can see where they filmed a few EP's of Vikings.
The tallest tree in Ireland is a Douglas Fir.
We also have some pretty good sized Sequoias.
If you'll pardon me posting a photo from one of my Sonys here...

As is the tallest tree in Scotland (and the UK) This one is a candidate for tallest. There are several contenders. Planted from seed by D.Douglas.

Bolton Abbey is on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. If you pick a sunny quiet day i.e. the first day it opens after lockdown then you can have the place to yourself. And with the sun out, the walk up to Simons Seat (10 mile round trip) is rewarded with such variation of scenery.

Bolton Abbey itself is a beautiful ruin, caused by the Dissolution of the Monestary

The estate includes the Valley of Desolation and Posforth Gill - a cracking waterfall

Simons seat and Barden fell is a marsscape of brown heather and rocks - and some cotton grass

Go South Young Man, Go South - Mt Cooke - Monadnocks National Park by Andrew Priest, on Flickr

The view south of Mt Cooke in the Monadnocks National Park. The Power Line Road stands out as a scar on the landscape.
We were walking the park as part of Ibu Anne’s training to complete the Oxfam Trailwalker 50km which she ticked off in early October 2018.

Pink Flower - Waychinicup National Park - {Day 11- 08} by Andrew Priest, on Flickr

Day 11: Esperance to Albany: The Unconventional Ride. 750 km in 10 days. A pink flower. I have an uncomfortable feeling this is a weed, a South African import? - Waychinicup National Park.

Looking East - Mt Cooke - Monadnocks National Park by Andrew Priest, on Flickr

Looking east from the eastern slopes of Mt Cooke in the Monadnocks National Park, Western Australia. A great spot on the Bibbulmun Track for a break.

We were walking the Bibbulmun Track in this section k as part of Ibu Anne’s training to complete the Oxfam Trailwalker 50km. Anne ticked off the Trailwalker in early October 2018, having completed the 50 km walk.
