I couldn't find a similar thread, so I thought I would start one.

Some of us are lucky enough to live near one, but everyone travels, and National Parks are beautiful places for some snapping.

So let's see some National Parks. (Don't forget to name the park in your post.)

Great idea for a thread. I live 20-30 minutes from the Cuyahoga Valley National Park, depending on traffic. It is truly a treasure in my backyard. I will limit myself to 3 shots. :)

Here the Ohio Turnpike travels over the Cuyahoga Valley, and the Cuyahoga River. Also seen next to the river is the Towpath Trail, the trail off which all others in the park branch. The sunrise at this spot is always lovely, but this morning I got something special.

The park is a perfect representation of Ohio landscape. A clean yellow sun in a rich blue sky, burning through a morning mist, is the epitome of an Ohio sunrise. Rolling terrain consisting of meadows, marshes, swamp, and forest, are all contained in one park.

In every season, the park takes on new life and beauty. I particularly like to visit the parks many waterfalls during autumn.

That's great work. I love that you processed it naturally. I really need to visit the NW.
Thanks Ken. It's a real challenge for me, I love me some LightRoom sliders, and I did push them around a bit but, I think I managed to avoid the technicolors LOL.

The NW is a great time! I'm absolutely positive you would have a great time exploring the area. Of course I'm a bit biased ;)

We are fortunate to live 6mi/10km from a NP and can see three more :) The Pup and I visit frequently.

Easy Pass, N Cascades NP. Last Oct. @pake, You have a good chance for some good weather and the fall color is at its peak. This trail is accessed right from Hwy 20. 13km/1000m gain

I was surprised to discover how few national parks I have visited in the last few years. So I have dug out at few from my pre-m43 days.

Torres del Paine, Chile

N. Cascades again. Mt Shuksan from Lake Ann. Mid Sept. The park boundary is just past the lake which is still dog-friendly :) A popular hike. Trail starts at the Mt Baker ski area. 13km 700m gain, 500m loss
