Took this picture a couple of years ago as part of a 7 days/7 pictures in B&W challenge.
I used the Monochrome mode in the GM5 so the jpg is in B&W, but since I want to give you all a level playing field I have provided a jpg in colour also.

----------
Post-Processing Challenge Rules

  1. The Challenge Master provides an image or images to be "improved" upon by way of post-processing, as well as a closing date for entries.
  2. Entrants are to post their entries, visible in this thread, at a resolution of 1000 to 1600 pixels in the longest dimension, prior to the closing date.
  3. Each entrant is allowed two entries in the Challenge.
  4. At the close of the Challenge, the Challenge Master will select a Winner and Runners-up.
  5. The Winner of the challenge is honoured as the Master of the next Challenge.
Notes:

  • Images provided by Challenge Masters must be their own. They are posted solely for the purpose of this Challenge; not to invite critique or criticism nor for other uses. If Entrants post their entries at a photo sharing site, they should credit the owner of the original image.
  • "Improve" is a subjective term, and may include many creative ideas, as well as traditional "fixing". The Challenge Master agrees that Entrants may make any changes they deem fit in their entries.
  • Entrants are strongly encouraged to share the tools and techniques used for their entries, however this is not a requirement for entry.
  • Compositing is allowed, provided the use of the donor image does not violate any licensing or copyright restrictions.
  • As we all know, beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. The Challenge Master is encouraged (but not required) to state the criteria used to decide upon a Winner. While we may not all agree with the result, the Challenge Master's decision is final. Please refrain from posting adverse comment.
  • If the Winner is unable to post a new Challenge within five days, the honour passes to the next Runner-up.

First off again. Great shot, I like the way the light glistens on the wet road. ACR and Photoshop.

Nik b & W then some cloning - hopefully not TOO obvious!

From the raw file through DxO PL4 in color, then Gimp/Nik Tools (B&W in Nik Silver Efex Pro 2). Also removed the crane.

Not a full crane removal but partial. I'm sure it makes even less sense in reality. Anyway, my cloning is bad. I should just import to like Paint and draw in the sky. Maybe another day. :whistling:

To PL4 for DeepPRIME, then color and other tweaks in DT3.4, especially locally on the bright sources of white light that were being expressed strongly as blue.

Edited raw file in DxPO PL2, converted to B&W using Nik Silver Efex, then tweaked in Elements.

Entry #2: color version. I tried to keep the evening blue sky while keeping the warm artificial light color; also tried to keep the tree framing the picture on the left somewhat visible.

I started with the previous edit and then used NIK silver efex. A blue tint keeps the cool night air feeling.

#1 This is a small world. Three years ago my daughter was playing on a soccer tournament 200m away from this pizzeria on Ekensbergsvägen

#2 Just because it's a bright idea to first denoise everything with Topaz Denoise AI and then add a *lot* of "natural" film grain

This Pizzeria is actually on Stråkvägen 1, Ekensbergsvägen is further to the right in this picture.
I don't think Råsunda stadion was there 3 years ago, so the question is did she play at Skytteholms IP or Råsunda IP?
Skytteholms IP (IdrottsPlats) has stands for the audience and Råsunda has none. 200 meters away would be about right for either one.
Actually the crane some of you have removed is standing in the area that formerly was Råsunda Stadion.
The pubs and restaurants in this area was/is heavily used by football (Soccer to the ignorant!) fans when a game was/is played in Solna, the stadium now is Friends Arena in Solna.

Edit: It was probably Skytteholms IP because I know they are playing tournaments there and they have 3 full football fields there. Råsunda IP is to basic.
