The creativity in this thread is incredible.
Entry #2: B&W from the previous, played around with it a bit in DxO Filmpack.

Out of contest (just for the fun of the pic) as my two are posted already.
I decided to let a little more sunlight inside when it comes out again. It's been raining all weekend.
(If this is against the rules, I'll delete the post).

I'll only consider an entrant's first two posts. That doesn't stop anyone from modifying or even completely changing their original entry, so long as those changes don't take place after the competition is closed (Midnight on Monday wherever you are).

If you want to include this one, just swop it for one of the earlier ones or delete one of them.

Good entries so far.

As I'm still learning, the changes I've made are far from perfect. I'm still "fighting" with both LR and PS.
That's why I left my first b&w post and just posted this one as an "encore".

We're all still learning. Considering PS has about three different ways of achieving the same outcome in every single editing feature, no-one on here will ever stop learning. It's the main reason why it's worth doing.

Wow. 29 Entries!

Not as easy as it first looks. There are some distinct colour variations which appear on the side of the cart when you try to equalise the exposure. I'm guessing that it wasn't all painted dark blue at the same time. The highlight over the first signwritten panel is problematic.

My top 10 were:

@WhidbeyLVR #1
@WhidbeyLVR #2
@Dinobe
@Fred S #2
@Fred S #1
@betamax #2
@MonikaO
@Rob Rider #1
@junkyardsparkle
@GregRed #2

Special mention to Rob Rider & MonicaO for pushing the boundaries.

My top 3 were:

3rd - @GregRed - Entry 2
2nd - @WhidbeyLVR - Entry 1

Winner - @Fred S - Entry 2

The cart was a good candidate for a composite or a black and white. There were some great monotone entries, but I felt that FredS's was a good interpretation, well aged but without too many induced faults. I think I'm just drawn to the tone.

Thanks to everyone who took part. @FredS is the new challenge master.
