Recent trip to Lisbon, Portugal and along the coast revealed once again that nature outguns man-made.

The city is quite magnificent but not as magnificent as this point along the coast known as Boca Do Inferno, the Mouth of Hell.

In the first image the rocks to the left are way over exposed (they were in direct blazing sunlight); any tips on how to tone them down using iPhoto?

Nice! We were just there too a couple weeks ago, staying in Cascais- the town next to the mouth of hell. Great area and we also really loved Sintra. You can see lots of pics on my Flickr if you are interested

Cascais was my favourite town along the coast. Wonderful character, beautiful beaches, sleek new marina. Just wish I could have stayed there for longer.

On the subject of character what about this amazing old woman? She's only 24 you know - tough life by the sea!
