Rains a lot in Ireland. Were lucky, rain stopped for an hour. The air was so fresh and the smell of autumn forest is great. Shot with Panasonic G-3 and Panny 35-100 2/8 at 100.

Not many mature women's portraits here, so here's one from me.

Have you ever noticed that there are few mature women featured in any of the books on Posing or taking Portraits? Most models are under 30.

I get to believe that some of those authors are not capable of taking good shots of mature women. In my limited experience I have found that if you take a great photo of a young woman, you might get a thank you as they are more focused on using their disposable income for wardrobe etc. and are not willing to commit their financial resources to pay for large sized prints. Take a great photograph of a mature woman and she will ask for a framed large size print to display in her home and a package of smaller prints and give you a Mercedes in exchange. Well maybe not a Mercedes but they will pay handsomely for photographic proof that they existed.
