Portrait 1: A simple self portrait. I debated doing a 52 week challenge this year, but didn’t find one that really focused on what i wanted... so my goal this year is to take one unique portrait a week, every week, for 52 weeks... we’ll see how this goes!

One of those "shot between shots" from my time working with Lauren Green last year in Santa Fe. I grabbed this photo between setups where you can see Lauren in a completely natural moment and not "working" the camera. These kinds of moments result in some of my favorite images. I love how her personality comes through here. Not trying to oversell it but I see amazing strength and beauty in Lauren's expression. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

And now for something completely different I present Stephanie Wilson. She reached out to me the other day with the idea of trying to create an image inspired by photo she had seen (see it below the main photo). Stephanie showed up with the makeup, wardrobe, and some special contact lenses to help create the result shown here.
