    Hi Guys
I was in Melbourne CBD trying PL25 mm1.4 . I thought we can have a thread from each city with title like - 'Portrait of a city ' and shooters from that city will post pics of the city under same thread. It can be any thing but should show iconic and tourist attractions as well sas well eateries , pubs and other unique places .
I am starting this one for Melbourne and encourage my fellow Melbournians to post shots here .Melbourne is capital of state of Victoria and a very lovely and livable city . Its famous as food capital of Australian and you will find plenty of Restaurants and coffee shops in the city . Melbourne is also famous for its notorious weather as we normally experience four seasons in one day .Lets hope everyone comes forward with similar portrait of their cities..:2thumbs::2thumbs:
    Cheers

Thanks Lucille , I will talk to my fellow Melbourne friends , we will pool and pay one way ticket for u to visit Australia and would love to see you shooting this large continent . I think u should buy an UW lens like Panny 7-14mm now .

    that would be amazing....

i don't like the panny 7-14mm due to not being able to put a nd filter or any filter on it.

I know some here have a work around for this issue, but I still don't like it.

had it not been for that, I would have purchased this lens.

as it stands now the p14mm is my favorite lens for the daytime outdoor shots.....

Bhupinder, there's some very 'WOW!' shots there mate ... love that opening shot of the bikes, very classy!
The Collins Street tram is right by our hotel, the Batman.
The Elizabeth St view of the station is also a new angle I've not taken, and the mono with wedding car just needs a bride to set it off!
And your Hosier La. shots are no less than brilliant! Oddly enough I only stumbled upon it yesterday when I was in Melbourne. I'll be posting my take on it later.
