Does anyone know if there exists an m43 adapter for a Polaroid 0.42X lens??
No and yes. Your Polaroid lens is an add-on adaptor lens. You add it to an existing lens. Most likely it is threaded and should be marked as to the size in millimeters. If it is really old it might be a push on type. You can use that lens on a m4/3 lens if the threads match or you use a step-up ring. If the add-on lens is smaller in diameter than your m4/3 lens then it will vignette. The .42x is the magnification factor and since this is less than 1 it means it is a wide angle. So if you fitted it to a 20mm it be like having a 8.4mm and if fitted to a 14mm would be a 5.88mm. BUT putting a wide add-on onto a wide lens usually results in vignetting and really bad distortion. It works much better on a standard lens.
