I am planning to buy a Timbuk2 messenger with Snoop insert. I have seen a few pics of these bags around and about but I have yet to see one loaded with M43 gear. I have narrowed my search down to D-lux & Snoop. I am leaning towards the D-lux because of the zippered top access even though there are some Snoop pros as well. I still need to make sure of size so pics of small & xsmall kits would be most helpful.

BTW I want to carry OMD with 3 lens minimum & an Asus tablet.

    Thx

I can't help with actual photos but if you google "timbuk2 camera bag snoop" there are some images that may give you an idea of what it holds.

Yes but the images are all FF & DSLR gear. I am sure based on posts we have actual members with these bags. I am hoping they will share a few shots...

    small snoop insert

Here are some phone pics of the small snoop insert, I use it in one of the timbuk2 messenger bags (delux) with my work computer. I only use the insert when I don't want to bring a photo only bag.

As you can see the small insert is tall and narrow and not really that small but there are limitations on how you can arrange the dividers because of this. I use one of the extra dividers as a flap in the middle compartment to store small items on top for traveling since the insert is much deeper than my body or lenses. In these shots I'm carrying a GH2 + 14-45mm lens mounted, the two side compartments carry the PL25mm and PL45mm with lens hoods mounted. There's an extra battery thrown in, lens pen, and a couple of filters.

    Hope this helps.

    cell phone pics sorry.

Small snoop insert inside commute messenger.

G5 + 4 lenses shown. The dividers on the sides are much taller than those in the center. I usually have a laptop + tablet with cables and such. I stack smaller lenses on the sides with lens bags when I need more space. It works well for me, especially since I found the bag at a thrift store for $6 then bought the insert.

My advice? Avoid a bag with these swanky looking, cranky acting buckles. They let loose and open at most inconvenient times... I need to connect with Timbuktu and return this bag, as much as I love it for every other reason. FWIW - the bag holds all my m43 travel gear in two medium Crumpler haven inserts (1 OMD, 2 FL50r's, Fong Lightsphere, Olympus flash bracket, 12-50, 75-300, 9-18, 45, 12-35, various ND and polarizer filters, spare batteries, cables, cleaning cloths)

They sure look cool though... I had mine open in overhead, lost a blackrapid strap along the way.
